U.S. Fish and Wildlife Forensics Laboratory

Arguably the world’s best wildlife forensics facility is the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Forensics Laboratory, its full name is the Clark R. Bavin National Fish and Wildlife Forensics Laboratory. This laboratory is the only one in the world with such a comprehensive range of forensic methods used in the field of crime against protected animals – experts in morphology, genetics, pathology, poisoning, etc. are able to determine the species of animal, the cause of its death, whether the law has been broken, and thus help to identify the perpetrator. In addition to functioning as an indispensable support arm of the government, they are also involved in research.

This laboratory is our role model, so below you can find links to interesting videos introducing its activities to the public.
